Put yourself as a point center and surround yourself with shooters. you either get a point blank shot for yourself every time or a teammate gets and open 3. Because that's the ideal player in 2k and that's how you prove it. Put yourself in the game as a 7'1/330 lb point forward at a 99 (basically a 100) rating. Against lower levels of toughness with the cpu it doesn't really matter. Give me a rim protector at the 5 spot and 4 wings and that's how I prefer to make a go of it playing at hard levels. The more wings you have that can do it all the better IMO. I try to score with that guy or at least draw the defense and kick it. I prefer a team with a guy like James, Durant, Pippen, or anyone that can cause a match up problem. In association I like big guards and anyone that can shoot. Regarding enjoying playing with him, currently I doubt anyone will because of how 2k rated him, if he proves to be better than his 61 rating indicates however, which I'm sure he will be, than once adjusted he should be very fun to play with due to his size and athleticism, again, in my experience at least. Also with the new block system I'm sure being tall will be even more advantageous than it was in past iterations. Being tall will be a pain defensively in 2k at least but no one is going to have fun with MCW offensively.īeing tall has never made anything a pain in 2k, at least in my experience, honestly you're among the first that I've witnessed complain about a player's height hindering their playability in any way (I remember a few seasons ago you could dominate with Sun Yue solely because of his height, he literally had nothing else going for him). He's an athletic 6'6 PG, if he does prove to be more talented than 2k is in fact giving him credit for, if even marginally, he could be cheese in the 2k universe. What makes you think he's slow? From the evaluations I've read he's supposedly quite quick, also his measurements at the combine were impressive. He's a PG who is slow and can't shoot, basically the only two things you need in 2k MCoster wrote:Yeah MCW should be better defensively at least. I'm hoping that by the time the new generation of systems are released MCW will have warranted a ratings boost. Lol, I guess some changes are in order, other than that the team should be fun to build up and upon. SG - James Anderson (Living Roster will likely sideline JRich)Ĭ - Spencer Hawes (Noel when he returns from injury) PG - Darius Morris (whom I guess according to 2K is a PG, while Wroten is a SG) Tony Wroten, SG/PG | 68 OVR | 64 OFF | 68 DEFįrom the looks of it our starting line up based upon the ratings, barring alterations prior to release, will be. Only qualm that I have is with MCW getting absolutely shafted by 2k, his 61 rating just so happens to be the worst rated Guard of the entire draft (next lowest rated PG is Nemanja Nedovic with a 63, worst rated SG is Allan Crabbe rated 64). So, decided to compile/post the 2K14 player's ratings for our 76ers and I believe it's safe to say that we have the absolute worst team in the game, likely in reality as well, but we'll have to wait on that.
